Law Enforcement & Government Requests
Last updated: April 16, 2026
Who we are
UnblockMeVPN is operated by POD RV LLC, a Hawaii limited liability company with a registered address at 2233 Ala Wai Blvd #2B, Honolulu, HI 96815, USA. We are a United States legal entity and subject to United States federal and Hawaii state law.
We do not claim offshore jurisdiction. We do not operate behind a shell company. Our defense against overreach is technical, not jurisdictional: we retain the minimum data necessary to operate a paid subscription service, and that minimum is far less than what a law enforcement request typically seeks.
What data exists to be compelled
For each active account, our database contains:
- An email address (required for account recovery and billing receipts)
- A salted password hash (bcrypt)
- Account creation date and subscription expiry date
- Payment method identifier (Stripe customer ID or BTCPay invoice ID), amount, and date — retained as required by U.S. accounting law
- The server location the account most recently selected in the app
That is the complete list of account-level records we retain.
What we explicitly do not retain
- No VPN traffic content, ever — we do not inspect, mirror, or record any data passing through our tunnels
- No DNS query logs
- No records of which websites, services, or IP addresses you connect to
- No records of when you connect or disconnect from the VPN
- No records of which VPN server you used at any given time
- No session duration, bandwidth, or throughput records tied to your account
- No originating (real) IP address history after you log in
- No device fingerprints or hardware identifiers
- No advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics SDKs in any of our apps
Our VPN gateway servers operate with volatile (RAM-only) logging. A physically seized server yields no historical user data on disk.
How we respond to legal requests
We require any request for user data to be delivered in writing to our registered agent and to meet the legal standard applicable to the requesting authority:
- Civil subpoena (e.g., DMCA, copyright enforcement): reviewed by counsel. Because we retain no traffic or connection records, the typical response is a sworn statement that no responsive records exist.
- Grand jury subpoena or criminal court order: reviewed by counsel. We produce only what we are legally compelled to produce, which is limited to the account-level records listed above.
- National Security Letter (NSL) / FISA order: see our warrant canary below.
- Foreign requests: must be routed through a U.S. Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MLAT) request. We do not respond to direct foreign government inquiries.
- Emergency disclosure requests (18 U.S.C. § 2702(c)(4)): reviewed case-by-case. We produce only the minimum records necessary to address an articulated risk of imminent death or serious physical injury.

Transparency report
Totals below reflect requests received since launch through the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Requests are counted regardless of whether responsive data existed.
We commit to updating these totals at least quarterly. If you believe we should have received a request that is not reflected here, please contact us — transparency reports are only as useful as the people checking them.

If this statement is ever removed, becomes stale (past its "Valid until" date without replacement), or is modified in a way that changes its meaning, you should assume POD RV LLC has been served with a legal process it is gagged from disclosing.
